At 15:20 hours, the WRFD was dispatched to the area of Blum Blvd. and Ethel Blvd. for reported smoke and fire in the area. Upon arrival, Chief M. Cribben determined a brush fire was burning adjacent to 701 12th St., Carlstadt. The Carlstadt FD had also been dispatched to the area for the reported fire. The WRFD and CFD worked together to extinguish the fire, preventing it from extending to the building. All WR units were back in service at 16:23 hours.
