How Your Donations Are Used

Your generous donations directly support the essential operations and programs of the WRFD. Here’s how your contributions help:

Although saving life and property will always be the primary function of our members, it is not the only resource we provide.  We are always there to assist at town events, stand by at sporting events, participate in parardes and are always willing to help in any way possible.The Wood-Ridge Fire Department also donates to many organizations including the Chief Fred Barbaretti Jr. Wood-Ridge Memorial Foundation Scholoarship Fund, the Bergen County 200 Club, WR Babe Ruth and Little League programs, Bergen County Boy's State program in Trenton, the NJ State Firemen's Home for the Aged and Infirmed and various local, civic and athletic programs.

As with any other volunteer organization, donations are needed to help defray expenses incurred during the year.  Any financial assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
